Dicentrarchus Labrax commonly known as Sea Bass, or Spigola or Branzino, is a marine and brackish water bony fish of the Moronidae family. Sea bass is widespread in the temperate and subtropical north-east Atlantic from Norway to Senegal, in the Mediterranean Sea where it is common, and in the Black Sea.
It is a predominantly coastal species (occasionally it can be up to a hundred meters deep) that populates all kinds of environments near the shore, both with hard and sandy bottoms. Being very adaptable we can find it in brackish waters of the lagoons and even in fresh waters at the mouth of the rivers.
In this video we found it inside a marina while it is dedicated to hunting for prey.
