Moray eel - Muraena helena

Moray eel (Muraena helena Linnaeus, 1758) is a marine bony fish belonging to the Muraenidae family. It is a sedentary coastal species. During the day it is almost always intact in holes or in cracks in the rocks, with the head just protruding.

Greater Amberjack to hunting

In this video we can see, in Mediterranean sea, two small Greater Amberjack to hunting. Yellowtail, Amberjack, Seriola dumerili, is a fish belonging to the family of the Carangidae. Normally the younger specimens tend to aggregate and hunt in packs.

Giant Trevally

The Giant Trevally (Caranx ignobilis), is a semipelagic fish known to spend time throughout the water column, but is mostly demersal in nature. The species is most common in shallow coastal waters in a number of environments, including coral and rocky reefs and shorefaces, lagoons, embayments, tidal flats and channels.

Genepesca Wreck

This summer we also immersed ourselves on the wreck of Genepesca, after many years in fact the wreck is changing, collapsing slowly. The central smokestack, the main feature of the ship has indeed collapsed on the right, probably due to a trawl net. The wreck itself still retains its charm despite the frequent presence of Mucilage.

Two-banded sea bream - Diplodus vulgaris

It is common throughout the Mediterranean Sea and the eastern Atlantic Ocean to Senegal. It prefers the shallows characterized by rocky areas where it easily finds shelter inside the burrows. It is a fish that loves social life and in fact we find it in herds both among its own similar and with other fish of different species.

Into Octopus Hug

Towards the end of a dive a few meters deep we met an octopus. The meeting is very common but the behavior of the octopus is rather unusual. Common stingray

As soon as I entered the water for a swim with the snorkel and the mask I met three specimens of Ray of the species Trigone Dasyatis Pastinaca, commonly known as Pastinaca. All three of the same size, about 25/30 cm, after a while 'are left to approach and film rather closely.

Young Pinna Nobilis

During one of the scuba diving we met some Young Pinna nobilis, common name the noble pen shell or fan mussel, is a large species of Mediterranean clam, a  marine bivalve mollusc in the family Pinnidae, the pen shells. It reaches up to 100 cm of shell length.
